Last night’s Listening Party went so very well! KraftR (our host) was a bit nervous, but I think it went better than we could have hoped. We had a good, lively conversation going and everyone enjoyed Charlie’s music immensely. He is truly one of the modern greats. His biggest strength lies in his ability to write lyrics that are poetic and relatable. Add to that a voice that carries the emotion and weight of those lyrics with seemingly no effort (it’s like breathing to him) and you have a world class talent.
Charlie is one of the nicest (and funniest) guys I’ve ever “met” as he answered lots of our questions and stayed with us all the way to midnight – that’s 1am Atlantic Time!
Thank you to everyone who attended. Unlike a cellcert, I can’t get an exact count of attendees, but I did check to see how many people were logged on to The Boogie midway through the party – there were 52 people. Not too shabby considering this is a new artist to many on The Board. We also got a few new Boogie members as a result of the party. Very cool. 
Thank you so much Charlie for coming by and spending a little time with us and answering all our silly questions. It was very much appreciated and oh so fun. Maybe we can do it again sometime after you release your next album. I hope your desire to open for and perhaps work with Taylor is fulfilled. I can only imagine how wonderful a collaboration between you two could be.
