My name is Amy. I work in an academic library cataloging books. I have two cats, Trixie and Alice and live just outside of Knoxville.
Why Crafty Peaches? A while back, I was getting an inordinate amount of SPAM e-mails to one of my addresses. They were almost all addressed to Crafty Peaches. I decided that the next time I needed an online identity, that would be it.
I love music – any and all (except Gangsta Rap…ick). I have almost completely stopped watching TV because there just isn’t much on anymore. I tend to stick to the science/educational channels and Sci-Fi. As for network TV, I like Bones and, um, I guess that’s it right now.
Most of my blogs are just slice-of-life posts. Occasionally I vent. Sometimes if I find something interesting in the news I’ll mention it.

I love your Taylor Hicks blog! It’s nice to see other fans of him online…and ones who’ve been to Atlanta. I moved away from there last August. I got tired of the traffic, myself. But I would’ve loved to have seen him at the Tabernacle. I did see him in concert in Portland OR and have just about finished reading his book. Very interesting reading!
